The Atlas
Atlas music is the culmination of the ultra-versatile Texas born, California based producer Raymond Jacob. Producing everything from Electro Hip Hop to Dubstep Soul, this producer brings non-stop energy to the dance floor and emotion evoking adventures through his music.
In a time where much of the music we hear today is sampled and bootlegged, Atlas has created an entirely new experience of originality through live interactive playing of real and virtual instruments. Rather than pressing play, he’s found his style by making his music come alive by mixing his own sounds live and on the spot. This artist is no DJ but rather a Producer that finds his method in electronic improvisation and spontaneity by playing synthesizer on top of real time sample mashing and beat crafting.
In 2009 Atlas entered the West Coast Electro scene by playing at parties, bars, and clubs in the Bay Area in affiliation with Leve1 Events. Since then he has played alongside the likes of Diplo, Fortune Cookie and has performed a circuit of shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Continuing his music education at Santa Clara University, The Santa Clara, TheSavioa.com, The Santa Clara Review and countless other music blogs have found reasons to write about this up and coming artist's style.
